The shell is made from 100% organic cotton the fill is 100% organic pine shavings making it 100% biodegradable and not harmful to the environment. As the Carine Pouf is handmade and organic, we do not use any chemical fixatives or glues to keep the appliques on the base fabric, so loose fibers can get pulled out quite easily. Do not pull the loose threads, cut them. Due to their handcrafted nature, each pouf will be slightly unique.
